Drew Furry, Project Executive, Capital Asset Management - Purdue University

Drew Furry, project executive, is responsible for project management of large capital projects on the Purdue West Lafayette campus from planning to occupancy. Primary responsibilities include onboarding designers and contractors, developing the project budget and schedule, leading the design process and ultimately delivering the project on time and under budget to the client. He has expertise in the Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc or CMAR) project delivery model and managed the first project of its kind in the state of Indiana. With more than 10 years dedicated to Purdue University, Furry’s impact has involved transformative projects totaling nearly $0.5 billion for Student Life, College of Engineering, College of Science, Athletics and other campus clients. Active projects include a campuswide classroom master plan and more than $77M in athletic renovations for Ross-Ade Stadium, Mackey Arena locker rooms and the Pete Dye golf course clubhouse. The new construction of Marc and Sharon Hagle Hall and the Chaney-Hale Hall of Science are just two of the major capital projects completed under Furry’s oversight in recent years, in addition to Purdue Memorial Union Club Hotel renovations.  Furry earned a bachelor’s degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in civil engineering and spent his early career working for a large construction management firm in Indianapolis, Indiana. There he managed projects in healthcare, interiors and the new Indianapolis International Airport. Furry is a licensed civil engineer and recently completed a master’s degree in business administration from Purdue Global.

 

Todd Wilson, Director, Division of Engineering - Indiana Department of Natural Resources

Todd began his career performing construction observation on Public Works projects around the State while working at American Structurepoint.  In 2011, Todd joined the RebuildIndy team as a Project Manager with the City of Indianapolis, Department of Public Works.  RebuildIndy, the infrastructure program executed by the Ballard administration, used over $450M from the sell of the City’s water and sewer utility to Citizens Energy Group to perform desperately needed projects.  He advanced through the ranks at DPW while managing major infrastructure projects in both, design, and construction management.  Todd was the Construction Administrator for the City of Indianapolis for over 2 years where his team was responsible for delivering the largest annual capital construction program in the City’s history.  Todd’s new role is with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources as the Director of the Division of Engineering where his team performs a wide array of duties for all aspects of the Department including State Parks, Division of Forestry, Division of Fish and Wildlife, Division of Water, Natural Preservation, and Historic Preservation.

 

Jayson Watt, Administrator, Construction Services - Indianapolis Department of Public Works

Mr. Watt has been in the Civil/Infrastructure Engineering industry for over 24 years. Mr. Watt is the Administrator of Construction Services at the Indianapolis Department of Public Works.  He was first certified in 2010 by the American Public Works Association (APWA) - Certified Public Infrastructure Inspector (CPII) and recertified in 2021.  He holds numerous other certifications, US Army Corp of Engineers, Construction Quality Manager, American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Construction Special Inspector (CCSI), Concrete Flatwork Finisher Technician, Field Testing Technician - Grade 1, Concrete Strength Testing Technician, INDOT Certifications in Bridge Construction, Concrete Paving, Hot Mix Asphalt Construction (HMA QA/QC - Rose-Hulman), Earthworks, and Construction Procedures and IWEA Certified Construction Inspector.  He is a former trainer for NASSCO Pipeline Assessment Trainer Program. And has held the NHI - Certified Safety Inspector of In-Service Bridges and is OSHA 40HR and CPR Certified. He also has a Master Certificate in Concrete Production Management from WOC.  Mr. Watt is the Past-President of Rebuilding Together of Indianapolis, Past-Vice President of Indiana Chapter of American Concrete Institute, and Past-Executive Board Member of Indiana Chapter of Construction Managers Association of America.

 

Jeremy Kosegi, Manager, Capital Project Delivery - Citizens Energy Group

Jeremy has a diverse background in civil and environmental engineering spanning over 25 years.  He currently serves as the Manager of the Capital Project Delivery team at Citizens Energy Group and is responsible for design and construction of distribution and collection systems projects.  Jeremy has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.  After school he consulted primarily for industrial clients on remediation projects. In 2006 he relocated to Indianapolis from the Chicago area and served public sector clients prior to joining Citizens in 2016.
